Our client, a highly reputable TMC in the heart of London, has a fantastic opportunity to join their team in the role of an Account Manager.

In the role of Account Manager you will need to retain existing business and develop new opportunities with current clients by consistent monitoring of customer booking patterns and trends, reviewing client development plans and ensuring service provision is in line with any new requirements.

Job Role: Managing key accounts and actively develop new business from them.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain and grow existing account base
Drive sales within existing accounts with an element of new business development
Monitor account performance to identify any unexpected changes (positive or negative)
Conduct regular client review meetings, maintaining accurate records and ensure forward action points are carried out
Prepare reports and documentation for presentation at client meetings
Ensure client participation in loyalty programmes where appropriate
Liaise with industry suppliers to ensure best possible purchase opportunities

Key Requirements:

Proven ability and track record to generate revenue through partnerships or through customer focused initiatives from an Account Management background.
Educational / Travel Sales Background
Outstanding partner service focus and attention to detail to receive, interpret and manage partner’s requests and challenges
Analytical skills and results oriented
Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, both written and verbal
Work pro-actively on your own initiative and the ability to establish relationships and influence decision makers at all levels
Experience in managing a portfolio of large and small accounts
Ability to work with and maintain highly confidential/ sensitive data
Natural networker
Goal-driven and realistic
Excellent “Can Do” attitude with a high level of personal motivation and pride in your work
Excellent Time Management skills
Self-confidence and able to use your own initiative to find solutions to problems
Persistence and tenacity
