Accounts Payable Clerck – Spanish + medium German

Job Description

Based in Terrassa, our client is an international Shared Service Centre offering a very stable and friendly work environment. For their Accounting team, they are currently recruiting for an Accounts Payable Clerk.

The Job

In this role you will be responsible for the timely and accurate processing of payments, ensuring that expenses and suppliers are paid in time and according to company’s standards.

Your Responsibilities

- Check and post incoming external and intercompany invoices / credit notes
- Match supplier invoices to authorizing purchase orders and proofs of receipt
- Data entry of all invoices and process automatic and manual payments
- Maintain vendor accounts, clear open items and resolve debit balances
- Maintain all accounts payable documentation and files it in a neat and organized manner
- Create and maintain vendor masters and apply changes
- Reconcile AP ledger to GL and vendor accounts to vendor statements
- Prepare AP month end accruals
- Review travel expenses, ensure compliance and prepare expense reports, assist in month-end analysis of expenses
- Ensure SOX compliance
- Provide information to support internal and external audits
- Handle and provide support to suppliers’ inquiries 
- Participate in ad-hoc duties

Your Profile

- Excellent level of Spanish and English + Intermediate knowledge of German
- Min. 2 years of experience in a similar position
- Accounting/Finance background
- Strong ability to communicate, both internally and with external parties
- Responsible, straightforward and precision in your work
- Strong work ethic and self-disciplined
- Experience in an international environment
- Excellent organisation skills and multitasking
- Responsible, autonomous in your work and ability to take decisions
- Hands-on and solution oriented
- Positive, enthusiast, high level of energy and can-do attitude

The Offer

- Permanent position
- Salary of 20.000 – 22.000€ / year depending on experience + meal voucher + healthcare insurance

- Schedule Monday to Friday - from 8 am to 5 pm
- Start date: ASAP
