Area Manager (Dutch)

The company

For our client a constantly growing online travel agency we are currently recruiting an Area Manager for the Benelux market.

The Job

In this position you will be responsible for the retention and the development of the hotels in your area to bind them as attractive long-term partner to the company. Beside this the main tasks include:

- Negotiate and create competitive and attractive packages with clients to increase number of sales
- Maintain and improve the relationship with the clients to ensure interesting offers for the customer base
- Propose and implement business strategy and action plans for countermeasures 
- Create reports for the monthly and weekly sales figures
- Analyzing the market constantly
- Ensuring KPI fulfillment and staying competitive with prices, availability and number of offers 
- Negotiate specials and original getaways for the customers

The Profile

The ideal candidate has background in the tourism sector and experience in B2B Sales or Account Management. Beside this the candidate should fulfill the following criteria:

- Native in Dutch and a good level in English
- Experience in the hospitality or tourism sector
- Experience in b2b sales or account management
- University degree in Tourism, Business, Sales or similar 
- Strong communication skills, dynamic, ambitious and motivated
- A proactive team worker with strong analytic skills
- Strategic person who is used to work in a target oriented environment
