In the role you will deal with client’s data, people and culture driven insights empower blue chip organisations to create new perspectives and unlock unprecedented potential for brand growth, segmentation and innovation. My client works on the most business critical or most complex challenges in marketing strategy through to marketing execution. You will need to think like a management consultant helping solve clients’ problems and develop actionable business strategy that initiates change. Everyone who works for my client has a passion for research. They are only hiring the best talent and harness the best imagination and commercial expertise to better answers questions. My client focuses on clients not process and admin. In a nutshell, brand strategy and planning, innovation, pricing and insight generation make up the bulk of my client does.
In recent years my client has grown it Qualitative Research both in terms of kudos gained for insightful research and as a successful revenue stream. As a part of the Incite team, you are expected to deliver complex, strategic projects for senior stakeholders, work collaboratively with your team members and take on responsibility for shaping our clients brands and businesses.
Your responsibilities are outlined in the key areas below:
-Leading client and internal meetings.
-Ability to write inspiring and compelling research outputs
-Actively listening, interrogating and challenging others to get to the best possible solution.
-Communicating research findings into commercial language
-Dealing with fluid briefs, managing multiple stakeholders and collating opinions to reach an agreed consensus.
-Development of business focused solutions to client briefs.
-Ensure that projects are delivered on time and on spec
-Effectively managing clients’ expectations by regular dialogue and follow ups.
-Identifying relevant opportunities that could turn into future projects
-Sharing ideas through collaboration, coaching/buddying with colleagues.
-Understanding people’s motivations and drivers to get the best out of the team.
-Flexibility to take different roles on different projects and different colleagues on different projects
-International consumer research experience.
-Experience across a wide range of industry sectors
-Complex, strategic projects which will create change in their business (we deliver clear, decisive implications that aide decision making)
-When there are a large amount of moving parts and interested parties (we’re great at integrating and managing stakeholders, working alongside partner agencies, operating across departments and time-zones)
-When research needs to consider and work alongside other inputs (we understand business context, work with additional insight, data)
-You will be working closely with senior, experienced people who will help you learn and develop in your career
-With a non-hierarchical way of working you will not have a set role in a project and will be able to contribute at all stages of a project
-You will be part of a much more holistic approach to research, often working alongside Quantitative Researchers on projects
-As a Qualitative Researcher at Incite you’ll work across sectors and get great exposure to many different clients
My candidate needs to be a good Qualitative Researcher with 3-4 years’ experience. At this level I expect you to have a solid grounding in Qualitative Research and be ready for developing into a more strategic approach to Qualitative to be of interest to my client..
-At least 4 years of solid adhoc research experience at an established agency.
-Evidence of development in your role or organisation
-Evidence of client contact and management.
-Demonstrable experience of planning and running workshops.
-Excellent Moderating skills
-Identification of key insights to ensure that research assists business solutions.
