Category Executive FMCG

Opportunity for an experienced marketing professional with category management experience to join a global FMCG based company in Dublin.

Working closely with the Category Manager / Merchandising Services team this role is to support a host of global FMCG based companies ensuring consumer behaviour and trends are identified and utilised through effective space planning and category management.

Some of your responsibilities will include

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with large retailers and FMCG based clients
  • Support space management software tools - ensuring clients are well trained and receive a high level of service
  • Attend off site client meetings in conjunction with the Category Manager
  • Review consumer data, identify trends and give meaningful insight into the market

Background Experience

  • BA/BS (MSc) in Marketing, Business or a related discipline
  • Strong verbal and analytical skills with ability to identify trends
  • Previous experience within Category Management, Space Planning, Brand Management, Consumer Insights or related role within the FMCG sector
  • Ability to work as a member of a high performing team

This role will initially commence as a 12 month fixed term contract with a view to becoming permanent. The role offers the opportunity to work with some of the brightest minds in marketing and category management. Onsite training across a host of software, analysis and space planning software will be provided.
