Credit Controller (maternity cover)

Credit Controller


Up to £25K + bonus + benefits + travel allowance

12 months maternity cover (Full-time)

Our client, an internationally leading IT hardware company, is seeking to appoint a Credit Controller. The successful candidate will be able to manage all the administrative duties and coordinate key accounts while maintaining a good relationship with the customers.

Key Tasks

  1. You will resolve payment discrepancies with different customers.
  2. Issue credit when appropriate under specific policies.
  3. Liaise with the sales team on a daily basis regarding customer account orders.
  4. Responsible for all collection correspondence via telephone and email.
  5. Update the internal system with the customer accounts and credit terms
  6. You will take decisions regarding product shipments for customers who are on credit hold.
  7. Reconcile any account discrepancies.
  8. Plus any other work related duties.

Key skills & requirements

  1. At least 1 year of experience within credit control.
  2. Fluency in English (business level).
  3. Excellent communications skills
  4. Good working knowledge of Excel, Word and Emails.
  5. Good numeracy skills.
  6. Excellent organizational skills.
