Job Description
We have a number of open roles where fluent French customer oriented people with great attitude and work ethic, could potentially join the Company on a permanent, full time basis!
Reporting to the Customer Service Team Lead, You will will join the French CS team in Dublin. A brand ambassador, and representing the Company, you will use your excellent skills in communication, influencing and problem solving to assist our customers and help to resolve their inquiries and provide a first class quality customer experience.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Service Representative
- The role of a customer service representative is one of the most important of the Smartbox team. Interacting directly with customers at all stages of the business relationship, you are often the only representative of our business with whom the customer will communicate. As such, the variety of tasks you perform can effectively make or break the business’ relationship with the customer.
- Customer Experience
- A customer service representative is the face of Smartbox. It is important for a customer service representative to ensure that every potential and existing customer has a pleasant experience. Acting as an extension of Smartbox, this task is accomplished by treating each customer in a courteous manner, greeting them and answering every question pleasantly and efficiently.
- In some cases, a customer service representative is required to finalise sales. In these circumstances, you must speak with each customer and identify their needs and then recommend the appropriate product, partner or experience.
- Issue Resolution
- The resolution of customer issues and complaints is typically the responsibility of the customer service representative. In accordance with the old adage “the customer is always right”, the representative must treat even the most disgruntled customer with calmness and respect. You must identify the issues as quickly as possible, offering an appropriate resolution that satisfies the customer and is in compliance with company guidelines. When issues are determined to be of a serious nature, you must collect all relevant information and relay it to the appropriate manager. All the while, you must actively work to calm the customer, assuring them the problem will be efficiently addressed.
- Business Development
- A customer service representative must consciously seek out opportunities for revenue generation. While speaking with a customer for a fulfillment related issue, for instance, a customer service agent should up sell the customer, offering them products or services which may complement those that have already been purchased.
Essential Competencies/ skills :
- Fluent in French ; Proficient in English
- German speaking an advantage
- Enthusiastic, courteous, directive, curious, and positive
- Customer and solution oriented
- Excellent communication skills – verbal and written (at ease on the phone)
- Ability to exercise independent judgment on situations
- Ability to understanding complex information
- Ability to work under pressure
- Ability to handle calls and take notes at the same time
- Experience in a customer oriented environment is a big plus
