Japanese Customer Support Agent

This client is based in the beautiful Sliema, Malta and operates mainly within the technology sector providing customer support for gaming functions. The fun and excitement of gaming sets the tone for the company culture which is fun yet professional and our client is looking for a confident, chatty professional to join this team as a Customer Support Agent with an element of CRM to the role.

Your challenge

Your role within this organisation will be to provide first level Customer Support to customers who have any queries or issues. This company pride themselves on their exceptional Customer Service so you need to be a very patient, friendly and understanding person who is passionate about helping others. The CRM element of the role means that you will need to be confident and outgoing in order to progress the company’s relations with customers. Some of your daily tasks will include:

  • Contacting customers though email, phone or live chat to provide support and advice
  • Evaluate all relevant information provided by customers and come up with appropriate and effective solutions to their issue
  • Working closely with other departments and assisting with the development of weekly newsletters and direct mails
  • Assisting in content translations when required
  • Drive Corporate Relations activity through communications, campaigns and programs

Your resume

  • Fluent in written and verbal Japanese and English 
  • Previous experience within at CRM function
  • Previous experience in the Customer Service industry and/or Contact Centre environment is preferred
  • Excellent both written and verbal communication skills
  • Confident individual who is comfortable talking to and building rapport with anyone in order to build and maintain customer relationships
  •  Ability to adapt well to change and ability to learn new technology system quickly
  • Organised individual who is self-motivated and has the ability to manage own workload
