Danish Travel Advisor

Job Description

This is an excellent opportunity for a travel industry professional who wants to work abroad. Gaining international experience and developing knowledge and skills across a number of areas of the trade, as a Travel Agent for the Danish market you will help customers with existing global travel bookings as well as post travel concerns. This will include assistance with booking hotels, and other travel related services for an industry leader in hotels and accommodation booking. You will also calculate costs and refunds and making amendments to customers bookings via telephone, email and chat communication channels.

The company offers free subsidized shared accommodation close to the offices, meaning that you have no rent or utility bills to pay, leaving all of your salary free to spend on food and entertainment. The cost of living in Lisbon is also low, meaning that while the salary may look below average in other European countries, it exceeds Lisbon's average and offers an excellent standard of living, especially with no rent or bills to pay.

 

Job Specification

Fluent (native level) written and verbal Danish language skills and minimum B2 proficiency in English (written and verbal).

Applicants should have a passion for travel and tourism, with previous proven experience working in travel and tourism, and comfortable with tourism applications, etc.

A good working knowledge of computers including MS Office, Internet applications etc and excellent communication and interpersonal skills are also essential. Previous experience of working within a BPO or Contact Centre environment would also be an advantage.
