Bilingual Dutch/French Inside Sales Intern for the Belgian market

Our client offers university students the opportunity to join a leading IT company and gain valuable experience through their 3 to 6 months Internship Program based in sunny Barcelona!

In this highly dynamic, fast-paced, professional work environment you will have the chance to apply the skills you have gained at university in a real business environment. During your internship you will not only use these skills in the IT industry, but also acquire a range of abilities to contribute to the business whilst working alongside industry professionals.


About the internship:

You will work for the Inside Sales Business Unit focused on Northern Europe.

The purpose of your internship is to get an overview of the client portfolio, for which marketing actions are implemented and learn how these can be leveraged more efficiently to improve the business' return on campaigns. In addition to contributing in generating new business opportunities, your tasks will include:

Support tasks:

  • Reporting and analysis necessary to the team activity
  • Detecting potential data quality flows and recommend improvements
  • Accurately and efficiently enter customer information into company database for mailing and billing purposes
  • Assisting sales colleagues with arranging meetings and sales calls with customers

Pipeline Generation:

  • Generating incremental pipeline through customer engagement
  • Constant research on the improvement of processes
  • Making outgoing customer calls or cold calls in order to generate new business opportunities
  • Detecting potential data quality flows and recommend improvements


  • Managing the team’s interface and coordination with internal partners
  • Streamlining communication
  • Developing working knowledge of products and services sold and remaining updated on industry developments by reading current news or attending workshops
  • Coordinating local events in collaboration with the marketing manager

During the internship, you will also be asked to take on a project for which you conduct a research. Hereby you will write a report covering your findings and make recommendations on how the company can improve it's processes/systems. The project can be about any of the following topics, or about an additional one which you may propose yourself:

  • CRM
  • Marketing
  • Customer Relationships
  • Digital selling



  • A Bachelor or Master level student
  • Good organizational and interpersonal skills
  • A proactive self-starter
  • Willing to discover a sales department and engage with customers
  • Able to work independently and handle frequently changing needs
  • Ability to speak and write in English fluently, and be native in Dutch and/or french (bilingual preferred)
  • Positive, proactive, energetic and approachable personality
