Currently, I am recruiting for one of my most prestigious clients, based in the Tilburg Region. They're one of the biggest Industrial tooling retail companies in the world and the biggest in Europe, existing for over sixty years and business enterprises with over 140 locations in 15 countries worldwide. In a market that is becoming more and more competitive and their aim for the number one spot worldwide, they have now decided to shift the focus even more to B2B through Electronic data interchange (EDI). This requires professionalization and improvement of their eCommerce strategies, urging them now to hire a new eCommerce manager who can lead a team of functional application specialists and webshop developers

After setting up an entire department just for that purpose, building their webshop via hybris, and building a team of experts around it, it is now time to go to the next level: being able to respond even better and faster to their client’s needs while maintaining their excellent level of service.
About the position
You will operate as a Functional Application Manager E-Commerce within the company’s central SAP Competence Center Applications (CCA), where you will be responsible for actively maintaining the contacts with the business to meet the company’s requirements on E-business driven integration of processes and partners and ensuring their effective deployment within their WebMethods integration platform.
Together with your three colleagues within the CCA E-Commerce team, you will act as a sparring partner for the business regarding E-business driven integration initiatives. You will be involved in new E-business, related assignments/projects from starting point with the requirements analyses phase until going live including after live care.
The eCommerce Manager leads the team responsible for the development and support of the eCommerce, mobile applications, and B2B integration needs. This manager must possess both the managerial competencies and technical expertise in hybris, iOS, Android, Webmethods, XML, and/or IDOCs.
You will be responsible for the creation and maintenance of new eCommerce and B2B systems solutions to meet the needs of a growing install base. The manager will strive to achieve results for the improvement of the company’s eCommerce and B2B strategies in alignment with the architectural principles set forth by the IT organization. You will partner with the eCommerce organization in the achievement of its digital strategies that support its growth initiatives. You will also hire and develop eCommerce Engineering staff.

The ideal profile for this eCommerce Manager would look like this:
• Vast experience in the Ecommerce, mobility and/or B2B Integration space including multiple years of leadership experience
• Solid understanding of standard business processes such as Change Management, Problem Management, Work Prioritization, etc.
• Understand how daily operational support activities align with our business partners’ requirements and strategies
• Very strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Lean and Agile methodology knowledge preferred
• Project planning and management experience
• Strong verbal and written communication, interpersonal and facilitation skills
• Proven organizational skills
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to multi-task
• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to work with little direction, self-starter
• Proven ability to achieve objectives within tight time constraints
• Excellent English speaker
