A leading organisation specialising in technical translation is seeking a EFN Coordinator to work within the EuroFile department.
Reporting to the EuroFile Manager, the EuroFile department deals with the translation of European patents for dispatch to the clients for review and handling. The coordinators organise for texts to be translated in those states which the customer has chosen for the protection of their patent according to the client’s instructions. There are set nationalal laws and rules concerning the translation and validation of patents which must be followed strictly for which full training will be provided.
The role will involve dealing with each order at the admin Deals with each order at the administration level for a portfolio of clients and will be the point of contact for any queries which may arise during the process and will deal directly with client, with freelance translators and other in-house staff during the process of the order.
The ideal candidate will have:
French and/or German to degree level or French or German Mother tongue with excellent command of English
ability to work under pressure and prioritise the workload
attention to detail
previous administration experience
strong customer service focus
ability to multi-task
ability to deal courteously and efficiently with a wide range of people
strong written and oral communication skills
ability to work independently and as part of a team
