French Paralegal administrator

Job Description

We are currently recruiting for a French speaking Paralegal administrator to join the legal department of a large multi-national company based in Birmingham. As part of this role you would be using your language and legal skills providing assistance to the Head of the Legal Department as well as performing general administration tasks. This is a fantastic opportunity to further a legal career in the field of commercial and contract law with the chance of progressing onto a training contract with the company.

The Role

The main duties of the role are:

  • Providing assistance to the Head of the Legal Department

  • Running projects on the impact of legislation on the company

  • Checking and drafting new contracts

  • Maintaining budget and legal costs tables and provisions

  • Translating, contracts including leases, client and supplier service agreements, purchase agreements and confidentiality agreements

  • Keeping up to date corporate records

  • Drafting minutes and resolutions from meetings

  • Managing travel arrangements

  • General administration and clerical tasks

The Company

The role sits within the Legal Department of a large multi-national company which specialises in providing accurate, reliable and efficient stock management solutions to retailers, distributors and organisations around the world.

Necessary Skills

  • The ability to speak and write French fluently is essential ideally with experience of working with French businesses

  • Ideally you will have previous work experience as a Legal Assistant or PA

  • Experience within an office or administration environment is essential

  • An understanding of legal terms in French and English is desirable


The company is based near Birmingham International airport and has excellent road and rail transport links. It is within easy commuting distance of Coventry, Warwick, Stratford or Nuneaton, Burton upon Trent, Ashby-de-la-Zouch, Loughborough, Derby and Leicester. As well as being close to the M6, M42 and A45.
