We are currently recruiting for a French Sales Manager for an immediate start.

They offer services such as City Breaks, live 24/7 online booking facilities & Fly-drive tours - Group Tours - both custom and escorted tours - to a dedicated M.I.C.E. department offering full services for conferences, incentives, meetings and events

 
French Sales Manager 

 

The office is a modern office with about 60 employees. It’s very busy, at times it’s pressurized but it’s always good humoured and challenging. Our client organises trips for staff during the year so they can get to see Ireland and stay in some of the Hotels.  Work starts from 8am or 9am. 

 

Responsibilities of French Sales Manager:

You will also be responsible for some English speaking markets. The role will involve a large amount of travel both abroad and domestically.  The main objective will be to gain new clients and keep existing clients, and to maximise the margin earned.

Preparation of written sales & marketing plans for your markets and implementation of these plans
Attendance at selected international & Irish trade workshops, fairs,  supplier functions and sales trips
Proactive targeting & researching of new clients.
Accompanying agents / tour operators on familiarisation trips of Ireland and organising same
Send out all quotations to clients that were prepared by the costing department and follow up same
Management of all client relationships & main contact point for all clients.
Assist in the preparation of French language programmes and itineraries
Maintain and update a current data base of agents in our CRM database including collecting hard copies of current agent brochures etc
Development of new business - E.G. scheduled coach tours, new products etc.
Assist with the production of German language Newsletters, ezines, flyers etc.
A quick reaction to all sales leads is required in order to ensure we capture the business
Production of monthly sales reports

Some overtime (evening & weekend) will be necessary to complete all of the above tasks. Willingness and ability to do this is mandatory

 

Candidate Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have a friendly personality, quick learner, flexible, good communicator, team spirit, professional, focussed and result orientated, financially aware.

- Min 3+ years experience in a Sales role

- Must be Fluent in French and English

- Must have Sales Experience in the Tourism / Travel  Sector

- I.T. Literate
