French speaking reservations agent

Job Description

The Client:
 
Our client is a well positioned international company operating in the luxury travel, leisure and hospitality industry.  Due to the substantial growth of their business, they are now looking to recruit a French speaking reservation agent for their international team in Malta 
 
Key Responsibilities:
 
• Consistently exceed customers' expectations by delivering an exceptional customer experience on each call
• To provide each call with the features and benefits of cruising to raise product awareness
• To achieve first call resolution on sales enquires
• To receive and action sales enquires via email and fax as and when receive
• Exceeding daily/monthly conversion targets
• Achieve and exceed monthly sales conversation targets as set by the business
• To assist with other departments as and when requested
 
Requirements:
 
• At least 1-3 years travel industry experience - ideally with experience in a customer service role
• IT Literate - Experience of Travel Reservation with Galileo or Amadeus systems and MS Outlook, Word and Excel
• Must be solution focused and able to use initiative to problem solve
• Must be able to remain calm and patient under pressure
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Highly organized with the ability to prioritise, whilst paying strong attention to detail
• Outstanding verbal and written communications skills with the ability to build rapport
• Language skills: French (ideally a native speaker) and proficiency in English.
 
This is a full time, permanent role based in Malta, that comes with an attractive remuneration.
