General Ledger Accountant (French)

Job Description

The Company.

For one of our client, an international Shared Service Center based in Barcelona, we are currently recruiting for a General Ledger Accountant France.

The Job.

In this role, you will be in charge of the General Ledger Activities for the assigned French (speaking) entities of the group.
Your responsibilities:
– Month-end and year-end closing
– Preparation of accruals
– Cost analysis
– Control of cash flow
– Balance Sheet analysis and reconciliation
– Preparation of VAT declaration and corporate tax calculation
– Support on the preparation of local financial statements and of documents for audit
– Ad-hoc projects and analysis

Your Profile.

– You have a fluent level of French + English
– You have min. 2 years of experience in a similar position
– Knowledge of French GAAP is a plus
– You have Accounting/Finance background
– You have experience in an international environment
– You have problem solving capabilities and have the ability to adapt to changes
– You have strong analytical skills
– You are rigorous and detail oriented
– You have strong organisation and prioritization skills
– You are responsible and have the ability to take ownership on your tasks
– You are real a team player, positive and always ready to help
