German Customer service agent

Job Description

We are looking for a German speaker to join a Milton Keynes based company proving outsourced support for many of the world’s largest banks and building societies.  We need somone to join the growing team to support German customers of Deutsche Bank. They provide lots of training to the right person who is professional on the phone.


The Company provides services in the customer service, complaints, correspondence, fraud, disputes, chargebacks, collections and debt management service lines, for both consumer and commercial customers.


Main duties:

  • To answer existing Deutsche Bank customers’ queries -

  • To be responsible for processing payment complaints

  • To follow the chargeback procedure in accordance with Visa and MasterCard

  • To liaise with Deutsche Bank cardholders and branches about ongoing cases

  • To translate documents from German to English

Required skills:

  • Fluent (to native level) verbal and written German language skills (will be tested at interview stage) as well as a good level of English

  • Professional telephone manner

  • Good attention to detail

Previous office-based customer service experience is desirable but not necessary


Previous experience of customer service or work in a call centre is helpful but not essential - this is an exciting opportunity which will give you excellent financial and customer service experience as well as the chance to learn new skills. You will need to have your own transport due to the transport links and the shift pattern.


  • 40 hours per week – working shifts either 07:00-16:00 or 10:00-19:00 this can be flexible

  • Salary: £23,000 per annum

  • 29 days holiday (incl. Bank Holidays) rising to 33 days with length of service

  • Possibility to 'purchase’ a maximum of 5 extra days per year

The office is in a very pleasant location overlooking lakes and woods on the southern edge of Milton Keynes. It is very close to the A5 with good access to the M1 with ample on-site secure parking.
