What will you do in this Job?
As the German speaking Enterprise Support Engineer you will be seen as the lead engineer for this location where you will be responsible for leading, training in and delegating tasks to those within the office. You will need to keep a close eye on customer service and satisfaction as customer experience is crucial here.
You will be working on incoming cases via phone and email, keep yourself active on relevant forums, making sure to address issues posted by customers.
Daily reports will need to be created based on daily activities and incoming cases in order to keep up management up to date as you will have the opportunity to liaise and report to the office in the USA on a regular basis. As office supervisor, you are responsible for keeping an eye out that all employees concerns are seen to in a timely manner as well as promoting positive team spirit.

Who are we looking for?
In order to grow the new team in Cork we are looking for you to have a near native level of German, with an excellent level of English. You are extremely customer focused wit good people skills - as you will manage the tech team here in Cork.
Team lead exp will be beneficial but we are looking for people who have 1-2 years as a senior in a team. - where you would have dealt with leading a team, training in new hires and delegating tasks is needed.
We are also looking for you to have strong IT experience (3-4 years) where you worked within level 2 support, you know your way around networking and have a strong ability with software and hardware. Software Applications Support is a must and we wold like you to have a good working knowledge of virtualisation i.e. VM ware, Virtual Box etc.
You have strong configuration and debugging skills, experience with SQL servers or equivalent databases and you are proficient with network infrastructure. Last but not least if you have experience in security software's that would be a major plus for your application.
Where would you be working?
Cork is where you would be working, Ireland's second biggest county that is proud in supporting the GAA (Football, Hurling, Rugby) the list goes on. However, each game comes with the guarantee of an action packed event full of excitement, you will find yourself getting caught up in it each and every time. Cork is in fact already home to a number of cool software companies, so there would be a lot of like minded IT people around.
Interview & Salary
Interview: For this Enterprise Support Job you are looking at sitting around 2-3 interviews with those in the office in Cork and the headquarters in the States (Skype Interview). Once you are successful, you will then be asked to run through your technical skills with a senior engineer here in Cork
Salary: The salary for this job is dependant on the level of Experience you bring but you could be looking at earning up to €50,000 gross per annum. Of course for the right profile we are willing to fight for a higher salary for you. On top of this there are a number of benefits such as a relocation package (negotiable), being offered stock options, numerous benefits and the chance to join a fast growing team here in Cork.
