Global Partner Management Director

Job Description

The Director, GPM EMEA Operations will be responsible for overseeing world class sales and service delivery to PayPal customers by leading key vendor partner management. This individual will be responsible for leading day-to-day functions in order to manage strategic projects, vendor relationships, KPIs and the budget. This person will work closely with senior management across the organization to ensure high sales and service performance, continuous improvement, consistency, collaboration and the implementation of best practices across all sites and programs. This role also incorporates a high degree of relationship management and forms the link between EMEA leadership, BU, OE department and various Operations business units to include Risk, Financial Services and Compliance. The primary goal is to ensure that resources are fully optimized and aligned to meet the business units’ strategic objectives.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive the strategic planning process & ensure appropriate project oversight for key strategic initiatives
  • Support the preparation of analytically & financially sound business cases for key strategic projects
  • Lead conversations & meetings with key internal/external partners & stake holders to negotiate appropriate strategies that align with financial & strategic objectives
  • Manage portfolio of existing vendor relationships to ensure that KPI’s & financial targets are met
  • Co-ordinate monthly & quarterly business reviews for each vendor Develop & execute plans for improvements in quality, sales & overall performance
  • Collaborate with local center & regional executive leadership on ideas for improvement & implementing strategic plans & adjusting processes
  • Engage as appropriate in regional OE projects as subject matter expertise warrants

Requirements:

Education: MBA/BA or equivalent experience.

Experience:

  • In-depth experience in a key contributing management/leadership role in contact center operations including sales, business development, service & vendor management. 
  • Experience developing sales & service strategy, managing projects & driving decision making processes. 

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Excellent communication skills. 
  • German language skills, an advantage.
