Head of Digital Acquisition

Job Description

Our client is looking to hire an experienced Head of Digital Acquisition to lead growth in revenue-generating B2C marketing campaigns. This position is central to the success of our business as it fosters, manages and builds upon existing online distribution channels. The selected candidate will also be central in defining go-to-market strategies for new products and brands.

 

The Head of Digital Acquisition will own and develop strategies for online presence to acquire converting traffic for our software products. This role requires a hands-on and an analytical approach to online marketing. This is a full time position based at our Malta offices. Reporting directly to the General Manager, your key areas of responsibility would include:

 

  • Managing online distribution channels including display advertising, PPC and affiliates
  • Online media buying, planning and budgetary control
  • Manage online media agency, affiliate and partner relationships
  • Manage online campaigns’ performance
  • Develop strategies to acquire new business in existing and emerging markets
  • Drive go-to-market strategies for new software products and brands
  • Work with e-commerce, product and design teams to deploy new marketing initiatives
  • Manage processes, create structures and deliver the right insights to the business
  • Manage a team of professionals against revenue and ROI targets
  • Highly contribute to conversion rate optimization (CRO) testing pipeline

 

Required experience in:

 

  • Proven ability to lead and motivate teams. Minimum 2 years leadership experience
  • Previous experience in managing large online budgets measured on performance
  • Necessary skills include online display advertising, PPC, media buying, affiliate marketing, SEO/SEA in the downloadable software industry
  • Experience in working against aggressive ROI targets
  • Develop and test new concepts through A/B/n testing
  • Experience in global e-commerce
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Proactive with the ability to build and manage relationships with internal and external partners
  • University degree in Marketing, IT or related discipline
