IT Service Quality Manager

Job Description

For one of our client, an international Shared Service Centre based in Barcelona, we are currently recruiting for an IT Service Quality Manager.

The Job

In this role, you will be responsible for managing and driving the site in the identification, evaluation, and implementation of projects that introduce new or improve existing technologies, equipment, processes and materials which improve the quality of services. The main tasks include:

  • Build and lead the IT Service Quality team
  • Devise and establish a company's quality procedures, standards and specifications
  • Initiate, implement and monitor comprehensive corrective actions and preventive measures
  • Define and implement a sustainable action plan to improve the IT Service quality
  • Compile and uphold processes related to all standard reporting
  • Accountable for the Global Change Management process, including scheduling, coordinating and hosting, ensuring that each change is managed according to the agreed process
  • Establish and maintain principles, policies and definitions of service management
  • Improve overall visibility to reporting trends to formalize further improvements
  • Setting KPIs and performance management

The Profile

The ideal candidate has a strong experience in a similar role and has the right people management skills to help a team better performing.

  • English on a business level
  • Any additional EU language is considered as a plus
  • Min. 5 years of experience in a managerial position (preferably of the IT team)
  • Certifications in ITIL or IFRS is desirable
  • Proven ability to manage a team and to handle talks simultaneously
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Solution oriented and motivated
  • Positive mindset with a hands-on attitude
  • Able to troubleshoot and delegate tasks
