Manager of Account Development - Swedish Speaking

Role Summary

Our client American Express our currently looking for a mid-market commercial card remote Manager of Account Development (MAD) focused on driving retention and growth within a defined portfolio of existing customers. This is achieved through the development of a close relationship with the customer base and focused consultative selling, ensuring new opportunity identification and subsequent maximum account penetration. 

Main Responsibilities

*Responsibilities include retaining and expanding the existing relationship with defined set of MM Global Corporate Payments (GCP) Accounts to achieve an annual CV growth target. Focus is on maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction, growth and a reduction in attrition. Emphasis is on your ability to maintaining the client relationship in and across multiple levels within the client's organization in order to build and maintain business. 

*Maintain strong "customer listening" and "consultative selling" skills to assist you in positioning and continuing to support and expand on the overall MM GCP value proposition. In addition, you will need to be able to position the MM product against competitive threats and proactively work at preventing these. 

*Investigate supplier spend behaviour of corporate clients both in the T&E and in the Non T&E commodities, with particular emphasis at expanding the CV in Non T&E commodities.

*Improve loyalty of the account through the penetration of online products, premium cards and reward programmes. Support marketing campaigns on loyalty, spend stimulation and compliance as appropriate 

*Day to day activities are, but not limited to: all aspects of corporate card program from new applications for expansion into existing account to understanding and pro actively responding to the key drivers of attrition. Account portfolio is approximately 70 accounts.


*Excellent verbal and written Swedish

*Data and reporting analysis skills
*Relationship management experience, a proven ability to ensure key linkages with other business stakeholders are optimized (finance, operations, local market MAD organization, etc)
*Strong time and productivity management
