Manager UK Group Contracting

Job Description

Strong Recruitment have specialised in the UK inbound tourism sector since 2001 and we work with DMC’s, attractions, tour operators, online, sightseeing and tourist boards in a variety of positions – we are now recruiting for a Manager UK Group Contracting.

 

As Manager UK Contracting you will be responsible for :

 

  • Account managing all the companies key hotel relationships throughout London, the UK and Ireland

  • Developing new supplier relationships and contracting rates and allocation

  • Working with chain and independent hotels

  • Broadening your product knowledge by attending Fam. Trips and educations, workshops and trade fairs

  • Collating information and producing a monthly Product newsletter for internal and external contacts

  • Contracting for tourism suppliers such as transport, meals, guides

  • Overseeing a team of staff

 

Manager UK Contracting must have :

 

- experience of contracting rates and allocations for the group market

- extensive knowledge of the London and UK hotel sector – all categories of hotels

- experience of attending events and workshops with bodies such as Visit Britain, UKInbound or ETOA
