Nordic Business Development Manager (Danish speaking)

Are you a fluent Danish speaker with proven sales and business development experience within any of the following industries?


 Software, Information Technology, Business Intelligence, Research, Consultancy or Finance


Our client is one of the world’s leading research consultancies, focusing on advising business leaders on decision making in marketing, strategy and business technology. We are currently assisting them in their search for a driven and client-focused Danish speaker, to build and nurture the Danish market.

This is a hybrid role, with a mix of business development and account management. (50/50).


You will be working from the London office in a team of 7, but also be traveling to Denmark frequently for client meetings.


Let’s start with the most important bit. You!


  • 3-5 years’ experience in sales or business development in a software, business intelligence, research or consultancy environment, ideally on enterprise level

  • Previous success in client management and complex solution selling

  • Extensive experience and understanding of the Nordic region and what makes Nordic people tick! (Sweden, Denmark, Norway)

  • Intelligent, consultative sales person

  • Fluency in Danish and English

  • Degree educated is preferable



What you will be doing:


  • Nurture, win, and grow a selection of new business clients from prospects in Sweden, Norway and Denmark (with a focus on Denmark)

  • Create your own portfolio of reputable clients

  • Generate incremental revenues from clients by selling additional

  • Efficiently manage your time to focus on activities that grow revenues and ensure client satisfaction.

  • Maintain an appropriate incremental sales pipeline to achieve growth objectives.
    Forecast accurately.

  •  Use analytical skills to understand our clients’ changing business and technology issues and needs.
