Norwegian Business Development Executive
Barcelona, Spain
€30,000 Basic + €10,000 Bonus OTE + Benefits

We are currently recruiting for a market leading software company with a global presence and a very well established name in the industry for business intelligence software.

As a Business Development Executive based in the Barcelona office, you will support the account management team and channel partners by identifying potential new business, creating the sales opportunity and ensuring quality populates the pipeline.

As a Business Development Executive your day to day role will include;

  • Outbound cold calls to prospects, lead generation and business development
  • Work closely with regional teams to win new opportunities and grow the business
  • Manage and effectively track prospects through the internal CRM
  • Alongside creating new opportunities, build strong client relationships, identify needs and SMART objectives, understand timeframes and confirm the decision making process
  • Be part of team meetings, networking events, create and execute lead generation activities to increase product awareness

We're looking for;

  • A solution orientated approach to selling
  • Commercially astute and the ability to communicate effectively
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment
  • Gain rapport quickly over the phone, build trust, overcome objections and articulate a solution effectively

To be successful in your application you must have a minimum of 6 months' business development experience in a Business to Business (B2B) environment, a Bachelors Degree (or equivalent) and speak fluent Norwegian and English.

If you have experience and a proven track record in software sales, lead generation, Business Intelligence Vendor sales and Customer Centric Selling (CCS) methodology then this will be of advantage to your application.
