Payroll Assistant (m/h) - Multinational

Offer description

  • Registration/deregistration of employees at social security and in payroll program
  • Monthly payroll (in compliance with cost center policy)
  • Provide payroll slips to employees
  • Submission of exit documents and records to terminated employees
  • Statutory required declarations (e.g. wage tax/social security contributions) (monthly/quarterly/yearly)
  • Submission of EFT data to Accountant (salaries, taxes and social security contributions)
  • Submission of payroll journal entry to Accountant for booking in general ledger
  • Reconciliation of payroll accounts together with Accountant
  • Garnishment of wages: Administration, payments and filing
  • Calculation of accruals: vacation, flexible time program, supplementary grant, training agreement, bonus accruals
  • Administration and handling of long leave (e.g. maternity, sickness)
  • Data maintenance in payroll program (e.g. vacation consumption, address change, salary change)
  • Giving information on employee requests: employment/salary certification, forms for family allowance/maternity leave
  • Giving support to Call Center Management for all kinds of payroll related questions
  • Delivering compensation costs for forecasts
  • Filing

Candidate profile

  • 1-2 years experience in Payroll Administration
  • Labor Law degree
  • Experience with Spanish labour law and taxation of compensation and social charges
  • Proficiency in MS-Office (especially Excel)
  • Fluency in Spanish and English
  • Ability to create strategic approach to build a high volume payroll structure(up to 600 FTE)
  • Self-starting attitude and self-motivating
  • Very good systems and analytical skills
  • Client and service oriented
  • Organizational skills and time planning
  • Strong communication skills, both written and oral
  • Proactive, independent and used to work in a team, used to work in a fast enviroment, quick learning, highly motivated.
