Pricing Specialist (Permanent Position Dublin)
Full time role required immediately with major multi-national in Dublin City Centre
The salary on this role is 33-45,000(DOE) with a generous benefits package.
A Major Multinational Investment management company managing assets of circa €50 billion and providing fund management services to a large domestic and multi-national client base.
They provide investment products to both institutional and retail clients, offering a full range of products from their value driven active and indexed fund management processes.
The Valuation & Administration area plays a crucial role in their business and they are currently recruiting for specialist role in the Pricing team.
Reporting to the Pricing Team Manager, the appointee’s main responsibilities will include:
1.Production of daily fund prices within expected standards of timeliness and accuracy
2.Circulation of fund price data internally and to external clients
3.Valuation of a broad range of products including derivative and more complex arrangements
4.Preparation of valuations for ad-hoc portfolios and in-specie transfers
6.Resolution of valuation queries and pricing issues
7.Regular reviews of processes for efficiencies and participation in systems upgrades and maintenance work
The ideal applicant will possess the following skills and knowledge:
1.Strong funds industry experience with exposure to valuations and fund pricing.
2.Familiarity with investment products, funds hierarchy, investment instruments, systems and infrastructures would be an advantage
3.Excellent IT skills and a proficiency in the use of valuation tools and applications such as Factset, Bloomberg and third party valuation platforms knowledge is essential
4.Excellent analytical and problem solving skills with ability to provide solutions to deadlines
5.Ability to deal with the introduction of new products and processes
6.A disciplined approach to working within a team with a high focus on customer service
7.Superior communication skills with ability to interact effectively within the firm and with all customers and suppliers
8.A 3rd level degree would be highly desirable but not essential.
