Sales Executive (Shipping)

Job Description


Our client, a shipping company who offers worldwide freight logistics and transportation, is looking for a Sales Executive, highly motivated and result-oriented individual, who is excited about excellent service.

Key responsibilities

  • Identifying and maximising all new and existing sales opportunities
  • Monitoring the market and analysing response to marketing efforts
  • Perform daily sales visits to importers and exporters 
  • Achieving established sales targets for Sea Freight services
  • Proactively handling sales enquiries, quotations and any client requests as necessary, backed up by a fully fledged team
  • Highly effective relationship management skills with the ability to find ways of solving or pre-empting problems whilst demonstrating a high level of integrity
  • Negotiating sales deals with customers and following-up on a regular basis
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills with the ability to positively and sensitively work with stakeholders
  • Drive and initiative combined with a good level of business discipline
  • Be able to work under pressure and to meet deadlines
  • Experience in the Shipping industry, as well as a solid background in sales, will be consider an asset
