Senior Associate - Corporate Finance Business

Job Description

Our client, a Corporate Advisory and Wealth Management firm, are seeking a Senior Associate to join their Corporate Finance Business Team. The ideal candidate will be empowered to develop into a senior role while also learning from and being supported by others who have extensive experience in financial markets. You will be reporting to the Head of Corporate Finance and will work with other team members advising clients in relation to mergers and acquisitions, management buy-outs, fundraising and related activities.

 

Key Responsibilities will include: - 

  • Leading the day-to-day management of corporate finance transaction execution (sell side, buy side, capital raising, restructuring, strategic advisory, etc.)
  • Managing and developing junior staff
  • Preparation of information memoranda
  • Financial modelling and company valuations
  • Transaction structuring and negotiation
  • Assist with business development and deal origination
  • General corporate finance advisory and ad hoc tasks as required

 

Required Skills and Experience: -

  • Qualified ACA, CFA with 4-6 years’ experience
  • Broad knowledge and experience in analysis of financial statements
  • Advance Excel and modelling ability
  • Highly numerate – Leaving Certificate Honours Maths an advantage
  • International experience desirable
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
