Senior Sales Executive

Excellent opportunity available for an experienced Sales Professional within the Manufacturing industry.

This is an opportunity available with a leading Manufacturing company in the UK who specialise in Finished and Semi-finished Steel products. They sell to structural and precision Engineering companies in aerospace construction and tool manufacturing. The company currently exports mainly to ROI but are hoping to branch out into Europe and the US in the upcoming years. This client is in search of a Senior Sales Executive to help them grow this expanding company further.  

Your challenge

Your role within this innovative and rapidly expanding company will be to generate new business while also managing current client portfolio. You will be part of a team of three reporting to the Sales Manager and have a team of administrators supporting you. The role will be approximately 25% phone based and 25% on the road/ in meetings. Some tasks you will be undertaking daily include:

•  Contacting potential new clients across a wide range of geographical locations in both Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland
•  Managing accounts for existing clients
•  Providing clients with quotes
•  Processing client orders
•  Going and visiting clients/potential clients to discuss their accounts/potential accounts
•  Managing pricelists on an ongoing basis
Your resume

•  Proven previous experience in Steel/Aluminium/Manufacturing sales 
•  Previous experience of lead generation through to post sales account management
•  Good understanding of the Northern Irish steel industry (and an understanding of the industry in further geographical areas)
•  Highly analytical – quick mathematical and currency conversion skills
•  Very confident and outgoing individual who networks easily 
•  Excellent negotiator and self motivator
•  Ability to build rapport with anyone, ranging from the one man independent to the multinational corporate customer 
•  Ability to work effectively as part of a team
•  Highly resilient, charismatic and approachable
