Sous Chef - £30,000 - £32,000 - Ascot - 5* Hotel
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Sous Chef to work in this beautiful 5* Hotel & Spa. Consisting of Fine Dining restaurant, Lounge, Brasserie and extensive events facilities. As Sous Chef you will be responsible for supporting the Head Chef throughout all areas of the operation, whilst managing the junior chefs.
Key Criteria we are seeking:
- Stable and committed work history from fresh food quality operations
- Previous experience as a Sous Chef
- Experience in restaurant and events operations, ideally from a quality 4* or 5* hotel operation
- Dedicated and understanding of the demands of a busy business
- Approachable individual who enjoys motivated and nurturing the team around them
- Cooking to rosette level would be a distinct advantage
- Own transport is ideal due to the location
- As Sous Chef you must have a desire and passion to cook with fresh quality ingredients sources from local producers.
- We are looking for someone who is willing to always push culinary boundaries.
- Has experience of leading a team.
- Minimum of two years' experience as a senior CDP or Junior Sous
