Team Lead - Game Analysis (m/f)

Job Description

As Team Lead - Game Analysis (m/f), you will combine your passion for data and your innovative mindset to ensure the process optimization of the evaluation and representation of all data surrounding our products (games). In addition, you will be responsible for developing and managing your team in both technical and personnel matters. You will employ statistical tools for your data analysis, which will serve as the focus of your work. Your analyses will allow you to recommend courses of action together with your employees that reveal new relationships and also contribute directly to the company's success.
 
 
 

Your job:
•Manage all team members in both technical and personnel matters and ensure an ongoing development of their skills
•Plan and oversee complex analyses, often long-term, in relation to our products
•Evaluate and continually optimize our analysis tools based on quantitative and qualitative analyses
•Monitor, analyze, and improve relevant statistics
•Develop complex SQL queries for relational and column-based databases
•Optimize internal procedures and coordinate interdisciplinary projects
•Help with the recruitment process, carry out feedback talks with employees, and assess their performance
•Approach problems with a variety of solutions which take into consideration the concerns of the decision maker, and recommend appropriate courses of action to optimize our online games

You Need:
 
•Very good university degree in mathematics, physics, computer science, statistics, or other subjects with a significant mathematical/statistical or scientific focus
•Many years of professional experience and some leadership experience
•Experience working with R or Python, which can serve as a basis to answering questions regarding the product or other business processes
•Able to visually portray results using Tableau or other presentation tools
•Basic knowledge of SQL or other databases is beneficial
•In-depth understanding of analysis and confidence in handling large amounts of data
•Very good written and spoken English
