Technical Support Representative

This role is with a leading Global IT services company who operate in 30+ countries. They offer a modern workplace that allows Technical Support workers to enter a lab where they can actually see and handle the machines that they are trying to help the customer on the phone with – so you could say its very hands on support! Offices are based in the stunning location of Sofia, Bulgaria. One of the cheapest cities to live and work in Europe.

Your challenge

This role is perfect for individuals with an interest in technology and a passion for helping people! You will be providing 1st level support for customers and helping to identify and solve issues. Other tasks you will be undertaking include:

  • Assessing customers for both technical and business sustainability
  • Producing feasibility and maintaining inventories of hardware and software
  • Addressing problems and complains over the phone in an appropriate and helpful manner
  • Working as part of a team in order to consistently meet targets

Your resume

  • Fluent in written and verbal Italian and English
  • Troubleshooting experience
  • Hardware and software experience
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate with accuracy and clarity
  • Computer proficiency and previous experience with Microsoft office
  • Ability to work well as part of a team and in high pressure situations
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to work well under pressure and deal positively with difficult situations
  • Experience in a customer focused environment is advantageous
