Training & Development Executive

Immediate requirement for a Training & Development Executive to join a well-known public sector organisation, the role is to cover a maternity leave contract and will likely be for a 12-13-month duration.

Reporting to the HR Director the main purpose of this role is to manage the corporate training & development function, you will also be heavily involved in rolling out a learning & development strategy in conjunction with a 3rd party provider.

The Training and development function over the coming 12 months will move to a more strategic platform the organisation envisage a lot of change and project management tasks to be a feature of this role in conjunction with managing the annual corporate T&D plan.

The role is located in Dublin city centre with parking available.

Background experience & skills

  • Strong background experience within a training and development capacity
  • Ability to manage projects and deliver within specified timelines
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels
  • Background experience within change management would be beneficial
  • Relevant 3rd level education

The role offers a competitive salary along with 30 days annual leave, hours are Mon to Fri 37 per week with an element of flexibility re start/finish time.
