Warranty Claims Validator with Chinese and English

Job Description

An international warranty team seeks a Chinese speaker who would like to start or deepen his/her experience in the warranty validation field by taking up the role of Warranty Claims Validator providing warranty services to a prominent client within automotive industry.

The primary role of Warranty Claims Validator is to assess warranty claims (accept/reject warranty repairs).  Additionally, the clerk processes monthly invoices from service providers and responds to queries from those as well as from country managers. The role generally entails usage and learning of client-specific software.

Key responsibilities and activities can be summed up in the following points:

1) Warranty claim validation based on checking invoices (proof of purchase), warranty policies and available external resources (e.g. DTAC, parts catalogs, sales information)
2) Clarification with repair service providers in case of discrepancy
3) Repair service providers invoice checking (i.e. comparison with payment proposal)
4) Delivery of checked invoice to the client's accounting department
5) Documenting and adding comments (e.g. to slow pay list or to the claim)

Since the opening is an entry level job, we put emphasis on your attitude rather than specific knowledge or experience. We just expect you to:

 - Be willing to learn new things
- Have good command of Chinese and English
- Have high school diploma
- Possess good communication skills (be able to build, maintain and enhance professional relationships with clients and others) 
- Have Data processing accuracy, be detail oriented, and able to evaluate/research a warranty claim
- Be stress resistant
- Be able to work efficiently within a team 
- Have knowledge of warranty processes or mechanical knowledge of machinery
 (an advantage, not mandatory) 
 - Be computer literate (Outlook, Excel, Access)
